We visited for lunch and it was quite busy, but our order was soon taken. The stovies were delicious, made with lovely fresh, good quality ingredients, and came with bread which was also fresh and tasty. The croque monsieur was also great with really nice bread and quality ham and cheese. The carrot cake was light textured, moist and delicious, with just the right amount of buttercream (not much) and the tiffin also very good. We did have to wait a bit for our tea to arrive (for which the waitress apologized and explained they only had one person doing the hot drinks) It was a struggle not to eat all the cake before the tea arrived! The staff were pleasant and cheerful, and overall we could not fault the food or service.

Nice little cafe we stopped in for a coffee and pastry. Was excellent. The other tables had some yummy looking sandwiches. Gave it a 5 star because I think it should be a 4.5 average.

Biscuit Cafe is the perfect place to start the day. Coffee is great, as is the food, and the staff members are really helpful and friendly. All this in a wonderful setting too. There is also a good selection of local art on display, with item available to purchase.

This place is gorgeous on a sunny day. Coffee was nice, service from all the girls staff was kind and fast and we really enjoyed our food. Definitely we’re coming back visited on 12/04/25

Popped into this lovely cozy cafe to warm up with hot drinks and shelter from the rain. Delighted that our wee hound was welcome inside too. Entered up the steps at the front and left by the back door into the enchanting wee garden and the bottom of the Hagg's Stepps. Loved the quirky old Singer sewing table in the garden. Would be lovely to sit out on a sunny day. Staff very friendly.

Stopped here for a quick bite before exploring the town. Very friendly staff and delicious sandwiches. Nice outdoor seating area out back. Highly recommend.
